Green Court was the perfect destination for our extended family vacation. The house was very well appointed with nearly everything we needed (even a cake plate for a birthday celebration!); we certainly did not feel like we were staying in a rental home. The pool was clean and refreshing (not full of harsh chemicals), the tennis court fantastic and the grounds were simply lovely and impeccably kept -- honestly, other than groceries, we had everything we needed for the perfect vacation right there and didn't feel compelled to leave the property. Joe was great to deal with and the Home Away app was incredibly useful. Easily one of the nicest homes we have ever rented. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Green Court again!

This property is beautiful and well maintained. The location is excellent to downtown Palm Springs. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub daily. The tennis court is lovely with the flowers in bloom. The mountain views are quite spectacular. Everyone in our group of 8 women rate this property as one of the best we have stayed in for our fun ladies tennis trips. Joe is very responsive if you need him.

This place is absolutely stunning. The design and open layout is amazing and you can tell that every little detail was given a lot of thought. The pictures really don't do it justice. From the picturesque mountain view to the relaxing pool and neatly landscaped yard, this place was truly amazing. I will definitely stay here again.

When renting a place like this one, expectations should be high. We arrived during a hot day. It was 110 outside and all we wanted was some good cold AC air. The AC was not working properly. This could have been a disaster. However, Joe the manager made absolutely sure that such a disaster will be avoided. Joe arrive at the house shortly after we called, brought the technicians in even though it was after regular working hours and left the house only after a new AC was installed. There were a couple of fur treating moments but the real efforts extended by Joe matched the great amenities this house has to offer. I would strongly recoemnd this place.

    • This estate was AMAZING!!

Reviewed by The Brown Family from London, United Kingdom on July 21, 2014 for their trip during April 2014

Wow, where do I start?! Our party consisted of two adults with three children aged between 7 and 13; a family holiday and we stayed here a short while ago. The booking and subsequent payment for our stay was straightforward, and Joe (co-owner) was quick to respond to all queries beforehand. In fact he was most helpful and attentive throughout our entire stay. Our deposit was returned swiftly on the day we checked out. The villa was spotlessly clean and comfortable; perfect for relaxing in. The photos are great but you really do need to stay here to fully appreciate the care and attention that has gone into making this villa so homely and welcoming for its guests. Joe's great attention to detail showed in the complimentary welcome pack - there were gifts for the children as well as for us adults. We thought this to be a really lovely touch. The concierge (Bruce) was punctual when meeting us, in fact he was early, and was incredibly generous with his time when settling us into the property and its grounds. It was clear to see that this property is well-maintained and cared for, and thorough preparations are made before guests arrive. It's always obvious to see when a holiday home has just been briefly aired and a cleaner has pushed the vacuum around an hour before arrival time. Definitely not so here. And so to the grounds... the spa/jacuzzi and pool were both clean and heated to the correct temperatures. The surrounding grounds were well-manicured and free from litter. The pool man and gardener were both thorough in their work and they respected our privacy at all times. A must when holidaying with children. The tennis court was fun for all; like the villa it was clean and well-maintained to very high standards. Does this review sound too good to be true? Yes. But is it truthful? YES, absolutely 100% truthful. This is an exceptional property; a joy to chill-out in all day, and a pleasure to return to after a day out. As promised the villa really did have everything we needed for a great vacation; all areas were clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, all linen and towels were freshly laundered and the kitchen was well-stocked. The estate is in a great location; easy to travel to the main city and/or local shop depending on your requirements. There's a great view of the surrounding mountains to enjoy whilst the sun sets, and the property is safe and secure. We would highly recommend this property and will be returning in the future without hesitation.

    • Relaxing at "The Compound" in Palm Springs

Reviewed by Brian from San Francisco, CA on May 29, 2014 for their trip during May 2014

We had an amazing time at "The Compound" (which we dubbed it). The place was excellent and in great shape. It was what we expected and more. There was so much space that we fit 3 couples and a single perfectly. It didn't even feel like we had 7 people there. The pool was perfect and it was the scene of many great conversations. The amenities and household supplies were a pleasant surprise and an A++ in our book. We had everything we needed to cook and feed 7 people and there was so much more. The hot tub was perfect and the tennis court with ball machine was a bonus that we took advantage of. We were all so relaxed and it felt like our own house as everything was labeled beyond expectations. The location was perfect and it felt like we were the only ones on the block. Jogging around the neighborhood and taking in all the beautiful architecture was an enjoyable experience. We had an amazing time and would definitely rent this property again. I cannot tell you enough how great it was. We absolutely loved the house and did not want to leave!

    • Incredibly Exquisite!

Reviewed by Julie's Angels from San Diego, CA on March 21, 2014 for their trip during January 2014

We’re two couples and two kids escaping winter for a week. We love to travel to Palm Springs and rent homes, and this home was the best one we’ve rented so far. The home is even more fabulous than the pictures on the listing suggests. The home we rented last year was very modern, but you can only take so much uncomfortable pleather furniture and ikea kitchen cabinets. This home was not only far more comfortable, but it has a very unique style that blends an incredible art collection with stylish custom furnishings - slightly eclectic, fun, thoughtful. I got a lot of good design ideas to bring home! There are two indoor dining areas and one of them has the most beautiful dining setting I've ever seen. The living room TV let us log into our Netflix account to augment the movies channels provided. The internet was sufficiently fast to support multiple Netflix streams and simultaneous web surfing. I definitely recommend paying to heat the pool. The kids spent hours in it each day, and I was glad it was salt water. We played a ton of tennis and the ball machine definitely helped my game. At night in January, it gets cold outside, but the hot spa was enjoyable every night, and there are 2 outdoor heaters that allowed us to enjoy several dinners outside, a decadence that drew the envy of our friends back home. The large fireplace in the living room had decorative metal swirls in it and it was comfortable to sit around and chill out. The master bedroom has a desk with printer and his and her bathrooms and it’s only a few steps from the spa, but each of the other bedroom suites are so nice we would be been happy in any of them. The separate casita is nothing short of incredible with an inviting bed and seating area. We would have chosen to stay in there, but our daughter walked in first and wouldn’t leave until we agreed it was hers. Note that the casita has a step or two at the entry so it's not wheel chair accessible. Joe was incredibly helpful, patient and always available when we had a question like when we couldn’t figure out the dishwasher controls or spa heater. While we like going to different houses each year, I’m pretty sure we’ve finally found the one that we will be coming back to over and over again.

    • The house is perfect

Our stay was super. The house is perfect --- beautiful setting, fun property (complete with a tennis court and also great poolside hanging area!). It's private/quiet, yet it's right close to town + restaurants. The outdoor + indoor gathering spaces are great places for friends/family. I felt a little guilty cause it was just two of us staying and the house actually has lots of bedrooms + even a separate casita..so it's a good place for more people than just a few. All equaled a pretty sweet set-up! We'd stay again in a second.
